Meet Charly


Hailing from France, my passion for food and the outdoors started from my childhood. Fishing, hunting, and growing organic veggies on my family's land on the French coast ignited my culinary spark. This early connection to nature shaped my culinary philosophy, which I now channel through my fire-based cooking in my catering business, Terra Firma Dining.

From acclaimed restaurants  to now cooking outdoors in some of the most beautiful places in Australia, my journey has been wild and delicious.

Inspired by the legendary Argentinian Asado, I've crafted my own epic path, blending edgy flair and French finesse in each dish. The best part is that my kitchen has no boundaries. I get to spend my days cooking in the outdoors and share my passion with the people I'm cooking for.

I didn't invent fire cooking, but it's a method that brings me the most joy. I started sharing my passion for this ancient art at my cooking classes on the Sunshine Coast.  Feast Over Fire was born from those early classes but is now a way of life. I want to keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible and teach others to do the same.
